Somerset Little League provides high quality instructional exposure to the games of softball and baseball for the youth of Somerset, PA, and its neighboring communities.  We are located at 345 Stadium Drive in Somerset and offer multiple divisions and levels of play for both softball and baseball.  These include:

Tee Ball Division: The Tee Ball Division is open to boys and girls of age 4-5.  The focus of the league is to introduce and learn the basics/fundamentals of baseball. 

Coach Pitch Division: The Coach Pitch Division is open to boys and girls age 6–7. The focus of the league is to have fun and introduce players the basics of baseball and softball.  Every player on the team bats and up to 11 players play in the field at a time.  Coaches pitch to the players and a tee is used after five pitches.

Machine Pitch Division (Minors): The Machine Pitch Division is open to boys age 7–8. The focus of the league is to have fun and continue to reinforce the fundamentals of baseball in a semi-competitive environment.  Runs are capped at five runs each inning and up to 10 players play in the field at a time.  Coaches feed five pitches to the players using a pitching machine.     

Little League Division (Majors): The Little League Division is open to players age 9 – 12 with the focus set on player development and execution.  The Division is sanctioned under Little League International and two tournament teams (a 9/10 team and a 11/12 team) are fielded each year and compete in sanctioned play with the 11/12 team playing in the International Tournament. 

Senior League Division: The Senior League Division is open to players age 13 – 16 with the focus set on advanced player development and execution.  The Division is sanctioned under Little League International and tournament teams are fielded to compete in sanctioned play.

Girls’ Softball Divisions: Somerset Little League offers four softball divisions for girls: 8U, 10U, 12U, and 13 – 16.  The teams compete in the Cambria Somerset FastPitch Softball League with instruction relative to each age group.
